Building a Brand That Matches the Program

Synergy Volleyball had become one of the fastest-growing clubs in the region. More teams. More athletes. More families. But their brand wasn’t keeping up with their growth.

The goal was simple: help Synergy stand out, tell their story, and create a consistent brand experience that athletes and families would remember. That’s where AOK Studios came in.

Over the last three years, we’ve partnered with Synergy to build a content system that supports recruiting, strengthens community, and helps showcase what makes the club different.

The Approach

Instead of creating content throughout the season, we built a Media Event strategy designed to capture an entire season’s worth of content in one event. Every detail was planned with purpose. We designed and built custom media day sets tailored specifically to the Synergy brand, giving athletes a unique experience while creating content that felt bigger than a typical media day.

Over the course of the event, we captured photos, hype videos, athlete features, team content, and brand storytelling pieces that could be used across social media, recruiting campaigns, websites, and marketing throughout the year. The goal wasn’t just to create content.

The goal was to help Synergy consistently show up online, build excitement around the program, and give athletes and families a clear picture of what it means to be part of the club.

The Impact

What started as a media event has evolved into a long-term creative partnership. As Synergy Volleyball continues to grow, open new facilities, and expand its reach, content has become a critical part of the business. Recruiting athletes, attracting families, launching new programs, and building awareness all require a consistent flow of high-quality content.

Over the last three years, AOK Studios has worked alongside the Synergy team as an extension of their organization, helping build a media system that supports their growth. From media events and brand storytelling to facility launches and ongoing content creation, our goal has been to help Synergy consistently show up online and communicate the value of their program.
